Sky Sight Inc. has recently participated in the University of Waterloo's WISA Talks series, hosted by the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics (WISA). This engaging webinar series brings together academic, industry, and government leaders to address the challenges faced by the aeronautics industry.

As part of the firm's involvement in WISA Talks, the founders took part in a session titled "Drones in Science & Industry," where they shared insights into the opportunities and challenges of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), more commonly known as drones. The panel of experts explored the diverse applications of drones, spanning remote sensing, thermal imaging, mapping, crop spraying, real estate, infrastructure inspection, and more. During this session, the team shared their first-hand experiences, discussed the challenges within the drone industry, and highlighted successful strategies to further shaping the future of aeronautics and its specific applications in the AEC sector.
