This project leveraged our expertise in the Ontario Building Code (OBC) to successfully secure permits for dividing the commercial space into two units. Through thorough on-site scanning and destructive inspections, we gained an in-depth understanding of the property, enabling us to create precise as-built models and CAD plans. Collaborating closely with a licensed structural engineer (P.Eng), our team assessed and modified the fire separation, ensuring compliance with regulations. As part of the permit application, our team completed the Ontario Building Code Data Matrix and submitted it to the municipality on behalf of the client for approval.
