Our skilled technicians use specialized ground-based and drone-mounted LiDAR and visual scanners for comprehensive data capture. Our multi-sensor data capture process allows us to scan building and site details to centimetre-level accuracy, including: facades, roofs, mechanical systems, fixtures, topographic features, and more. To ensure a high level of quality for exterior and topographic data, we employ surveying techniques including Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) technology and Ground Control Points (GCPs).
We process aerial and terrestrial LiDAR data, refining it by eliminating noise and artifacts. In addition to LiDAR data, we process high-resolution RBG photographs to create accurate 3D models using a technique called photogrammetry. This data is georeferenced using Ground Control Points (GCPs) to ensure cm-level accuracy. In order provide a comprehensive view of your building and site, we align these LiDAR and Photogrammetry datasets allowing us to fill in any gaps or errors in information that may exist in a single dataset.
